Why are we changing default super funds
In partnership with AXIS Financial Group, Perenti recently reviewed its default super funds to ensure it delivers the best value for our people. The review aimed to consolidate funds across our Australian businesses, enhancing benefits for our people through the increased size and scale of the group. Colonial First State was identified as the new default superannuation provider for Perenti and its Australian based businesses.
This site provides access to additional information for employees as well as the opportunity to book meetings or webinars to find out more about your options and the new Colonial First State superannuation fund.
What to expect
Change of default fund
Employees who are a member of our current default superannuation plan can transition to the new Colonial First State plan by completing this Standard Choice form and emailing it to mysuper@perentigroup.com. If you are a member of another superannuation fund, you will also have the opportunity to join the Perenti Default Fund with Colonial First State. There will be various communications and opportunities to discuss your personal circumstances with an adviser to ensure you are making the correct decision for your future.
Benefits for you
The Colonial First State arrangement provides strong past investment performance, coupled with robust investment options allowing you to tailor your investment strategy according to your risk appetite. It also provides comparable insurance coverage ensuring continuity of protection for you and your family. Colonial First State's member portal also allows you to be in control of your superannuation asset 24/7.

There will be further communications from your divisions/corporate to support you through this change and Perenti will provide regular updates to keep you informed every step of the way, options to remain with your current provider or to opt in from another provider, access to information sessions, webinars and support to help you make the right decision for your future and support from AXIS Financial Group to answer questions and provide advice to both current default plan members and those who have chosen their own super fund.
